Letting fees ban 'not implemented until spring 2019 at least'
The government has indicated that implementation of the ban on letting agents’ fees levied on tenants will not take place before spring 2019 at the earliest.
Following the continued uncertainty over the issue, the newly-rebranded Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government has been pressed on when it expects the legislation to come into force.
The department has confirmed that implementation of the tenant fee legislation will not be before spring 2019.
